Rimini and Surroundings
Hotel Rondinella e Viola
The timeless charm of Rimini

For history lovers, especially the Roman one, we recommend that you visit the thousand-year-old monuments such as the Arch of Augustus and the Tiberius Bridge and visit the suggestive Sigismondo Castle, perhaps in the evening, after having an aperitif in the Ancient Fish Market which is located in Piazza Cavour, famous for the "Fontana della Pigna" (remembered by Leonardo Da Vinci) near the wonderful Galli Theater of which we Riminesi are so proud.

For those who are a lover of the Medieval period, it cannot fail to make a stop in the Rimini hinterland full of castles that will make you "immerse" in history.
This is the Marecchia Valley which includes the municipalities of Casteldelci, Maiolo, Novafeltria, Pennabilli, Talamello, Verucchio, Poggio Torriana, Santarcangelo di Romagna, San Leo and San'Agata Feltria. I would suggest that you leave from San Marino, which you meet along the road that leads to Vallemarecchia and which certainly deserves a stop.
We then go to San Leo and, once the visit is over, we propose a detour from the route that touches the Marecchia Valley to enter Montefeltro, a strip of land nestled in the Central Apennines.
